Holistic thinking also leads to promote the constant expansion of the winery’s involvement with all forms of creativity, and especially to create a platform for music: Initiating the VIN-o-TON Project, we want to promote young and promising composers of contemporary music and make their work more accessible to a wider audience.
The next and for the time being last edition of VIN-o-TON will take place on the 1st of October at Casòn Hirschprunn in Magré. The commissioned work was written by the Dutch composer Mathilde Wantenaar. She will be accompanied by the Belgian ensemble Het Collectief and the soprano Katrien Baerts.
In the framework of this music project, up-and-coming composers from all over the world are invited to stay at the wine estate in Magrè and seek inspiration for a composition there. A concert evening is then held at Casòn Hirschprunn, at which the new work is performed.
