Sauvignon Blanc

This aromatic variety was first planted in Alto Adige at the end of the 19th century, and in the following decades it was grown almost exclusively on sandy soils of volcanic origin in Terlano near Bolzano. However, it also produces good quality grapes on limestone soils. The interplay of silica and limestone in the terroir determines the style of the wine.
