The grapes for this wine come from various locations in the Bassa Atesina, (Termeno, Magrè and Lake Caldaro), as well as the Isarco Valley. As the more southerly sites are all very hot, we set specific accents during the harvest that support our fresh style. We harvest the grapes at different times – in general, quite early, when they still taste crisp and lively. This gives our Gewürztraminer its freshness, salinity, depth and finesse. Ideally, some of the grapes are harvested with noble rot.
