The SURMONT Riesling demonstrates how we play with the diverse viticultural landscapes of Alto Adige. The grapes are grown across a range of altitudes, from 230m (754ft) above sea level (Magrè, Bassa Atesina) to as high as 900m (2,952ft) (Funes, Isarco Valley). While the Bassa Atesina features a mild, Mediterranean climate and calcareous soil, the Isarco Valley offers a terroir with a cool, Alpine climate and volcanic rock.
