This grape variety, developed in the 1930s by Professor Luigi Manzoni, director of the Conegliano Research Institute, is a cross between Riesling and Pinot Bianco. It is known for its loose-berried grape clusters and thick skins, as well as its higher acidity and lower sugar content. Its resilience to extreme weather conditions makes it particularly appealing to us. Consequently, in 2009, we decided to cultivate it in our Paradeis vineyard, situated above the village of Magrè.
